In accordance with the Poverty Alleviation Working Plan 2020 and the Training Plan of Informatization Seed Talents from Lingshou County, staff of State Information Center(SIC) went to Lingshou County, the targeted poverty alleviation county of National Development and Reform Commission and held the second training course for informatization seed talents on 15th October. Wang Xiaodong, Division Chief of E-government Network Development and Planning Division, Department of Public Technical Service gave the lesson on E-government development and cutting-edge information technologies. Wang Ying, the person in charge of publicity of SIC Secretariat of Party Committee, Secretary-general of SIC Youth League Committee, and deputy director of the Targeted Poverty Alleviation Leading Group Office chaired the course and made a brief introduction of SIC to the students.

Wang Xiaodong cited the strategic decision of building a "digital Fujian" made by Party Secretary-General Xi Jinping during his tenure in Fujian 20 years ago,. He said the world is entering an economic development period dominated by information industry, with technological revolution and industrial transformation reshaping all corners of the economy and society comprehensively. He emphasized that party members shall seize the development opportunities, and master the overview, operation mechanism, trends and innovative role of latest technologies in order to respond to the technological challenges in the field of governance, industrial development, social management and macro-regulation. The course focused on the basic concept and application of information platforms and internet technologies including the National E-government Network, blockchain, big data and cloud computing.  

The trainees listened carefully and asked questions about the development plan of E-government and information industry in Lingshou after poverty alleviation actively. Wang Xiaodong answered the questions. Targeted Poverty Alleviation Leading Group Office of SIC distributed the Reader of Informatization Frontier Technology as a training handout.
