On July 30, 2020, Huawei organized the ‘Huawei Smart Government Summit 2020’. SIC’s Vice President Zhou Min was invited to attend the meeting and delivered the presentation on "New tTechnology, new driving force, and new Governance by starting a new journey for smart government innovation and development".

The report pointed out that accelerating the innovation of new technologies is a 'must option’ and the 'optimal solution’ for facing new situations and coping with new challenges. New technologies have played a very prominent role in epidemic research and judgment and precise prevention and control, telemedicine and contactless diagnosis, the creation of round-the-clock online government services, and the development of digital collaboration between government and enterprises and data sharing. Increasing industries choose new technologies to face challenges and future development.

The report emphasizes that it is an urgent need to consolidate e-government information infrastructure to stimulate new momentum in e-government governance. For that purpose, it is necessary to further accelerate the construction of e-government information infrastructure in terms of optimizing and unifying the national e-government network, promoting an integrated government data center, strengthening the national data sharing and exchange platform, and building an integrated technology empowerment platform. At the same time, to accelerate the digital transformation of government affairs, we must focus on four aspects for further innovation and breakthroughs: continuously improve the e-government services, continue to optimize the business environment, accelerate the construction of a credit system, and deepen the development and utilization of data.
