Vice President Zhou Min of the State Information Center (SIC) made the field research to the Development and Reform Commission (DRC) and the Information Center of Gansu Province, and exchanged ideas with local leaders.

Tao Zhengmao, Deputy Director-General of the Gansu DRC, presided over the meeting. Zhu Honglin, Vice President of the Gansu Information Center, introduced the general development and businesses of the Information Center, including the current situation and future plans for the development of the provincial E-government network.

Zhou Min said that thanks to the efforts made by the Gansu Information Center, the Gansu E-government network realized remarkable achievements in network coverage rate and application. He also gave suggestions in the following fields: the first is to continuously provide technical support to the development and application of government information resources and digital government to the key functions of Gansu DRC; the second is to enhance the network security system of E-government network development through attack-and-defense exercises, information classified protection, and risk evaluation.

Deputy Director-General Xu Chunxue and staff from the Public Technical Service Department of the SIC attended the meeting.
