The SIC Beihai Cyberspace Safety Research Institute located in the Information Port of the China Electronic Beibu Gulf

On June 11, 2018, the State Information Center (SIC), the Management Committee of the Beihai Industrial Park, and the China Electronics Corporation’s (CEC) Beihai Industrial Park Corporation signed the strategic cooperation agreement in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to the agreement, the SIC Beihai Cyberspace Safety Research Institute would be sited in the Information Port of the CEC Beibu Gulf in Beihai, Guangxi. The Vice President of the SIC Ma Zhongyu, the Mayor of the Beihai City Cai Jinjun, the Deputy Mayors Chen Xun and Chen Xin, the Vice President of the Management Committee of Beihai Industrial Park Guo Yanjiang and the General Manager of CEC Beihai Industrial Park Corporation Bai Bing attended the signing ceremony.

The SIC Beihai Cyberspace Safety Research Institute was inaugurated jointly by the Vice President of the SIC Ma Zhongyu, the Deputy Mayor of Beihai City Chen Xin, the Vice President of the Management Committee of the Beihai Industrial Park Guo Yanjiang, and the General Manager of the CEC Beihai Industrial Park Corporation Bai Bing. After the settlement, the institute will establish academician workstations in the Information Port, strengthen the cooperation among the businesses in the Park, and step up the utilization and transformation of achievements of scientific researches, enable the Information Port and its businesses to share the fruits of the SIC Cyberspace Safety Research Institute and promote the industrialization of local cyberspace safety business.
