On the afternoonof May 24, NDRC’s regular meeting concerning the pilot project of employment, income and social security information sharing and big data surveillance and analysiswas held in Beijing. Li Kang,Director General of the Department of Employment and Income Distribution of the NDRC, Zhou Min,Vice President of SIC, Guo Qimin,Deputy Director General of the Employment Department of NDRC, Yu Shiyang,Director General of the Big Data Development Department of SIC, Wei Ying,Deputy Director General of the Big Data Development Department of SIC and representativesof four pilot sites, which areYubei District of Chongqing Municipality, Zunyi of Guizhou Province, Zhenjiang of Jiangsu Province and the Development and Reform Commission of JiangxiProvince, attended the meeting.

Leaders from the four pilot citiesdelivered reports on the personnel structure of their information sharing departments, work progress, available data and indices, current challenges as well as work plans for the next stage.

Yu Shiyang,Director General of the Department of Big Data Development raised six requests regarding detailed implementation. The first regular meeting over the pilot project received full recognition from Director General Li Kang and Vice President Zhou Min, whoalso made deployment of work for the next stage.
