The seminar on building urban computing network in Zhengzhou was held in the pilot area for smart city in Zhengzhou national high-tech zone. SIC’s Vice President Zhou Min attended and addressed at the seminar. Zhou said that building a national integrated system for computing resources has been accelerated with the progress of channeling more computing resources from the eastern areas to the less developed western regions and optimizing computing resource layout. He took Zhengzhou, which is boasted with geographic location in the center of 8 major computing pivots, as the key to connecting major pivots and building an integrated system.

At the Seminar, Chen Hongwei, Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou and Yu Shiyang, Director-General of the Big Data Development Department, SIC signed the strategic cooperation agreement on building urban computing network on behalf of Zhengzhou municipal government and SIC respectively.

After the signing ceremony, experts and business representatives exchanged ideas on building, planning and pushing forward development of urban computing network in Zhengzhou.

Officials from Zhengzhou municipal government and Zhengzhou high-tech zone, and staff from Public Technical Service Department and Big Data Development Department of SIC attended the seminar.
