SIC and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Dahua Tech) held a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation agreement on the afternoon of January 23rd, 2024. Xu Qiang, President of SIC and Fu Liquan, Board Chairman and President of Dahua Tech attended the ceremony. On behalf of both sides, Zhou Min, Vice President of SIC and Gao Chunshan, Vice President of Dahua Tech and President of Domestic Marketing Center signed the agreement.

In accordance with the agreement, the two sides, based on the principle of complementary, equality and mutual benefit, will give full play to respective resource advantages in the respect of policy, industry, technology, market, talents and research. Both sides will carry out practical cooperation on large-scale visual model algorithms innovation, research on key technologies for video sharing services, talent training and research projects, making video data available, well-working and handy, so as to better empower the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.

Xu fully recognized the effort of Dahua Tech on using technology to empower the exploration of integrated innovation and in-depth application on video and IoT, and emphasized the importance of the strategic cooperation. He pointed out that SIC, conducted a number of forward-looking, pioneering and innovative researches in the fields of new-style smart city, big data, digital economy, strategic emergence industry and sharing economy, shares good foundation for cooperation with Dahua Tech, and hoped that both sides to take the cooperation as an opportunity to explore new areas and potentials to jointly promote the high-quality development of digital economy and digital government.

Chairman Fu Liquan introduced the history, sci-tech innovation, industrial structure and innovation and practice in the fields of smart city and people’s livelihood of Dahua Tech. He said that with the cooperation, Dahua Tech will give full play to its accumulated technology and experiences in the area of smart IoT, working together with SIC by leveraging its comprehensive advantages in policy, strategy, talent, technology and data to research and promote video and image data process and innovation applications focusing on key technologies of vision large-scale model algorithmic collusion and video sharing services to better contribute to the development of smart city.

Directors in charge of Comprehensive Management Department and Public Technology Service Department of SIC and relevant personnel from Government Affairs Department of Domestic Marketing Center and Beijing Branch of Dahua Tech attended the ceremony.
