Zhou Min, SIC’s Vice President hosted a meeting with Zhang Qiao, Vice Mayor of Suzhou and the delegation on the afternoon of January 12th, 2023. Yu Shiyang, Director-General of the Big Data Development Department attended. The two parties exchanged on data factor market, urban computing network and decision-making support with big data analysis.

Zhang Qiao introduced general economic and social development in Suzhou, and offered proposals to strengthen the cooperation with SIC in data circulation and trading, urban computing network, decision-making support with big data analysis and building a research institute of big data in the Yangtze river delta.

Zhou Min welcomed Zhang Qiaos visit, and briefed on SIC’s work in big data analysis for decision-making, the progress of channeling more computing resources from the eastern areas to the less developed western regions and development of data factor market. He also called for further cooperation and exchanges with Suzhou for joint efforts in promoting big data innovation and development. Yu Shiyang introduced the development path for urban computing network and the building method of data factor market, and also the business with big data analysis . The two parties had in-depth exchanges on deepening business collaboration and innovating cooperation models in the next stage.

Attendants also included officials from Jiangsu Big Data Management Center, General Office of Suzhou Municipal Government, Suzhou Big Data Management Bureau, Suzhou Information Center, Chen Qiang, Deputy Director-General of Big Data Development Department of SIC and relevant staff from the Big Data Analysis Division and the Planning and Application Division.
