National Credit Information Sharing Platform Project (Phase II) (Constructed by the State Information Center) Successfully Passed the Completion Acceptance

On December 25th, 2020, the National Credit Information Sharing Platform Project (Phase II) (constructed by the State Information Center) (hereinafter referred to as "Credit Phase II Project") successfully passed the completion acceptance.

 

The Completion Acceptance Committee is composed of the relevant responsible persons from the Department of Fiscal and Financial Affairs of the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC), Science and Technology Information Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Social Organization Administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, State Information Center(SIC), National Center for Public Credit Information, and experts in the field of information engineering. The Committee agreed that the Credit Phase II Project has completed all the approved construction contents and achieved the expected objectives. The system runs stably and reliably, with good feedback from users and remarkable results.

 

 

Tian Yuan, Inspector of the Department of Fiscal and Financial Affairs, highly recognized the achievements of the Credit Phase II Project at the acceptance meeting. He pointed out that after continuous improvement, the National Credit Information Sharing Platform has become the "main control center" of credit information sharing in China, and has played an important role in supporting the reform to streamline administration, delegate powers, and improve regulation and services, optimizing the business environment and helping establish inclusive finance.

 

Zhou Min, Vice President of the SIC, concluded that the successful completion and acceptance of the Credit Phase II Project was an important milestone, and played an important role in helping to build a new regulatory mechanism, optimizing the business environment and serving the real economy. He pointed out that it was a new starting line for continuing to strengthen the credit building. The SIC would ensure the sound operation, management, application and service of the National Credit Information Sharing Platform and safeguard information security in the next phase, the cooperatives and their responsible constructions should pass the acceptance as quickly as possible, further promote the establishment of a long-term mechanism for information sharing across departments, and jointly make a greater contribution to promoting the high-quality development of social credit system.

 

With the support of the construction of National E-Government Network, the National Credit Information Sharing Platform connects 94 central government departments and 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps governments, realizes interconnection and information sharing with 77 social credit institutions. The platform has accumulated 61.842 billion credit information data, provided 131.364 billion pieces of data and 2.136 billion times of real-time query/verification services, thus providing an important support for promoting the establishment of joint punishment and credit incentive mechanism and credit system building.
