Established in February, 1995, the International Information Institute is affiliated to the SIC. It aims to provide information for the government and related departments through diverse academic researches and exchange activities in view of the current domestic social and economic development, non-traditional security and international strategic hot issues.
Its internal organization includes: American and European Research Office, Asian and African Research Office, Northeast Asian Research Office, Taiwan Research Office, Hong Kong and Macao Research Office and Economic & Social Development and Non-Traditional Security Research Office.
